8-Week Career Pivot Accelerator: What to Expect
Week 1: Discovery
We’ll begin with an in-depth session to assess your current situation, clarify your career aspirations, and define what success looks like for you. Together, we’ll carve out a vision for your future and set personalized goals to guide our journey.
Week 2: Crafting Your Unique Strategy
In this week, we’ll build a realistic and customized strategy that aligns with your lifestyle and career goals. This foundation will set the stage for your successful career transition.
Week 3: Career Exploration & Resume Tailoring
Explore non-traditional roles that fit your strengths and interests. We’ll align these with job opportunities outside of bedside nursing and work on crafting a standout resume tailored to these roles.
Week 4: Job Search Strategy
This week focuses on creating a targeted job search plan. We’ll identify key networking opportunities and fine-tune your resume to increase your chances of landing interviews in non-traditional sectors.
Week 5: Interview Coaching & Preparation
We’ll dive into interview preparation, practicing common and role-specific questions, and building confident responses. You’ll also polish your virtual and in-person interview skills.
Week 6: Mock Interviews & Negotiation Tactics
Engage in mock interviews to refine your skills, followed by salary and benefits negotiation tactics to ensure you’re prepared to secure the compensation package you deserve.
Week 7: Progress Evaluation
Together, we’ll review your progress so far, fine-tune your strategy where needed, and ensure you’re on the right path to achieving your goals.
Week 8: Reflection & Next Steps
We’ll wrap up by celebrating your growth and success. We’ll reflect on the journey and create a forward-looking action plan to keep your momentum going even after the program ends.
Ongoing Support
Throughout the 8 weeks, you’ll have unlimited email access for additional support, plus weekly accountability check-ins to keep you focused and motivated.
PLEASE NOTE ****THERE IS A NO REFUND POLICY*** for all accelerator sessions. Please provide a minimum of 48 hour for all cancellations for best options for rescheduling. If cancelled without minimum notice, a $150 fee will be required if a 1:1 session is required.
Career Coaching and Exploration
Sessions include qualitative assessments of your values, personality, interests, strengths and preferred skills. Focusing on your personal career path, resources to explore options for roles outside the typical “nursing” roles, tools for decision-making, assistance with charting your personal pivot and discuss timeline to achieve your chosen goal.

Job Search and Resume Tailoring
Guided recommendation to tailor your resume to highlight your passion, skills and expertise. Highlighting your most relevant skills and experience for one specific job application.
Sessions include assistance researching the marketplace and targeting one or several jobs, tailoring and polishing resumes and social networking profiles, developing a networking plan, responding to ads, working with recruiters, developing and practicing verbal statements that reflect your experience and expertise.
Typically 2-3 sessions

Interview Coaching and Preparation
Interviews can be in a variety of formats including video and telephone screening and even pre-recorded responses and with individuals or panels. Coaching will review best practices in standard and behavioral based interviewing.
